Melissa has experience representing financial institutions in the acquisition, disposition, financing, and refinancing of commercial real estate including office, industrial, SFR and multifamily properties. Her practice has included drafting and negotiating loan documents, and she is experienced with modifications of bi-lateral and syndicated loan agreements to convert benchmark rates, extend facility terms and otherwise restructure debt. She performs due diligence along with high-level analysis of agreements, leases, policies, and organizational and financial documents.

Prior to joining the firm, Melissa worked in the real estate finance department at Ballard Spahr LLP. Prior to that, she was as an associate with Englander & Chicoine PC, where she handled residential real estate closings and quiet title litigation.
